Tim and Lorna Simpson welcome you to The White Swan. We're a traditional, family-run public house, situated in the village of Eardisland on the B4529 between Leominster and Kington.

 

The village is part of the Black and White Village Trail, a 40-mile journey around Herefordshire villages that are populated by timber-framed buildings.

 

The pub and restaurant date from the 1500s, with later additions in the 17th Century and 18th Century. We're proud to be pet-friendly (who wouldn't want to bring their four-legged friend with them?) and are fortunate to enjoy a large beer garden to the rear of the site. It's the perfect place to sit and relax with a refreshing drink during those long, lazy summer months. And don't worry - we have plenty of on-site car parking.

 

When it comes to the winter months, we have beautiful open fires and of course, throughout the pub, we have an abundance of old beams giving The White Swan great character. With friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere, we believe we're the perfect place to go when you need to unwind and enjoy a quiet drink with family and friends.

 

Feeling peckish? We have a seasonal lunch menu, supper menu, and extensive burger menu and pride ourselves on cooking with fresh, local ingredients. We stock a wide range of wines, real ales, and draught beers to choose from at the bar, along with soft drinks for all those non-drinkers and designated drivers.

 

Special occasion coming up? Why not join us at The White Swan? Although there is no private function room, all events can be catered for.  We'll always go the extra mile. We regularly hold live music nights, open mic sessions and quiz nights for your entertainment, so be sure to ask a member of staff about what's coming up (or follow us on social media - all of the fun stuff is on there!).
